How Evidence Summaries Work
- When you upload evidence during an assessment and ask Assuredly to summarise the evidence , Assuredly will summarise anything in the document that relates to the control/s in question.
- Once summarised the summary will be added as a note to the assessment question, created by you.
- If you wish to Tag this note as AI generated add a Tag.
How to use Automated Summaries
It is important to read the summary carefully if you wish to use this summary in reports.
If you wish to customise the summary you can edit the note or you can copy some of the summary and create a new note then tidy it up with our word improver.
How to Upload Evidence and Generate AI Summaries
- Click the Upload button under the Evidence tab.
- Turn on the Summarise after Upload feature. Then click the file upload area. This opens your computer's file explorer to select a document.
- Wait for the document to be scanned and the summary to be generated.
- Click the Notes tab. This tab displays the AI-generated document summary and relevance summary.
- Scroll down to review the generated summaries. The summaries outline how the document's contents align with the risk management criteria.
- The statement is also saved to the document in the Document Module. To view the document in the Documents Module, click the Evidence tab. This tab displays the uploaded evidence documents associated with the assessment. Select the Cog icon.
- Scroll down the document details modal to review the document summary and usages in assessments. This section lists the specific assessments and questions where this evidence is applied.
