Reporting Notes

Tag Notes in various ways to communicate important information to different stakeholders.

When collecting information about the security controls you have assessed you may wish to share some or all of that information with various stakeholders.

For example:

  • Auditors may benefit from reading you in-depth description of how you have implemented controls.
  • Clients may benefit from additional information about how certain controls work or where they need to contribute when a shared control is in place.

During an assessment you can create and tag notes in various ways.

To Report Notes

  1. Add a Section
  2. Add a Table Item
  3. Go to the Filter called Notes
  4. Select a filter option using the drop down select.

When filtering Notes for your audience ensure you have correctly tagged them so the information you share is appropriate for your audience.

Here are the ways in which notes will appear in your reports when you filter them in the reports table editor.

Which Filter will Show Which Type of Note
